Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Twilight (Twilight #1)

Author: Stephenie Meyer

Reading Level: YA

Genre: Paranormal Fantasy

Released: September 6th 2006

Review Source: Little, Brown and Company

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him- and I didn’t know how potent that part might be- that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Everyone at this point has read, heard of or at the very least seen the movie of TWILIGHT by Stephanie Meyer. This would be the second time I have read the book now and in all honesty, I still enjoyed the book. I have a few issues with the movie and cast actors.

Twilight is about a 16 year old girl, Bella Swan, who moves to the small rainy town called Forks in Washington State. To live with her father, and while she loathes the whole idea, she reluctantly finds a reason to stay in Forks, a boy, Edward. The book is about young love, how it develops and consumes when first love is experienced, it just happens to be between a vampire and a human (no spoiler).

If you have only watched the movie, read the book, it really is so much better.
