Librarian turned sorcerer. Sorcerer turned hero. Hero turned puppet.
The Solaris Empire found victory in the North and, at the cost of her heart and her innocence, Vhalla Yarl has earned her freedom. But the true fight is only beginning as the secret forces that have been lurking in the shadows, tugging at the strings of Vhalla’s fate, finally come to light. Nowhere is safe, and Vhalla must tread carefully or else she’ll fall into the waiting arms of her greatest foe. Or former lover.
I am so thankful to have been given an ARC copy of Water’s Wrath, after completing Earth’s End I was swimming in despair.
Vhalla has run from everything, the bloodied battle field of Soricium and from the one man she’s truly loved, all thanks to the cunning of the Emperor. She is desperate for as many miles she can put between her and seemingly everything that she’s ever cared for. Albeit in hiding. Despite her wanting peace, and freedom, there’s talk of the Knights of Jadar searching for her. What could anyone possibly want from her now? Vhalla contemplates her options; 1. Fight alone and ultimately be hunted down as a murderer in spite of self-defense, or 2. Return to the kingdom as a true Lady of the Court, with the very real possibility of facing Aldrick with his soon to be empress?
I love the series, and I lament there will only be five books in the series. However I am excited for the final book Crystal Crowned!
Water’s Wrath will be available for purchase on April 26th 2016! Congratulations Elise Kova!!!
