I enjoyed book two a lot, it had some action and gut wrenching moments. No spoilers here! Crazy side thought, the circle almost reminds me of MLP and the Elements of Harmony… don’t mind me, I’m crazy, lol.
I especially enjoyed the ending, what a way to go Z! Time to step-up her goddess game if she’s going to take on her mentor and restore the balance. What about Zoey’s roommate and best friend, you ask? How will they get her back? No idea. I’ll have to read the next book to find out (so will you).
Poor Heath, he is just so gosh darn adorable but he can’t compete with Eric, not in my opinion. But hey, a girls gotta eat, why not keep him around for the future. I might also want to take a bit of a certain poet too, and I’d love to see how that unfolds for our dear high priestess in training. Good thing no one said she had to remain celibate!
Back of the Book
Zoey, High Priestess in training, has managed to settle in at the House of Night and come to terms with the vast powers the Vampyre Goddess Nyx has given her.
Just as she finally feels she belongs, the unthinkable happens: human teenagers are being killed, and all evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey’s old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves.
