Lets be honest right now, this is far too short and it does bother me that it is only FOUR EPISODES. From what I have gathered, minimal digging, it was intended more as a movie and the next season will be a few additional episodes longer than the first season. Let’s hope so because it’s amazing. For anyone who has played the Castlevania games released by Konami, you should love this because they do a very good job keeping Trevor Belmont as he was intended, at least in my opinion, that’s how I imagined him.
The show has fantastic animation, on par with Japanese animation and it feels akin to Full Metal Alchemists but more so Trigun. This show is gritty and full of gore and blood, I loved it. Season one focuses on ho Dracula unleashes his otherworldly army upon the mortal realm. I really do look forward to the next season but opening something so well anticipated with only four episodes is upsetting.
